Important Information

Senior Events - It was a great team effort to create all of the newly planned end-of-the-year senior events.  Thank you to Dr. Markwardt, Chief Purchase, Mrs. Talty, Ms. Cooey, and Ms. Dwyer for their roles helping to organize the awesome activities. All of you were included in my email to the seniors this weekend, but you can find it here if you missed it.  Please let me know if you are able to help with any of the events. I know the students would enjoy seeing you.

Parade - On Thursday, June 4th at 7:00 P.M., we are hosting a Clap Out Parade for our seniors. Seniors will ride in their cars as they parade through campus. More information will be provided, but we hope to have all district staff at the HS to clap out our seniors.

Locker Item Pick Up - We plan to disturbed 630 locker item bags to students within the next two weeks. If you are available and interested in helping, we would appreciate the extra hands. Please let me know. Thanks.

Building Access / Closing Classrooms
  • Beginning today, six teachers will be permitted in the building per day to close their rooms for the year.  Use this Google Form to select a day to come to the school. The school is open from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
  • Building access cards will not work. An office staff member will permit you to enter the building once you have registered using the Google Form. You will be required to check-in at a table in the vestibule where you will be asked to take your temperature. You will not be permitted to enter the building if your temperature is elevated.
  • All staff members and visitors are required to wear a mask. We are asking that you bring one from home. A mask will be available at the building if you are unable to bring one. Masks must be worn unless you are alone in an office or classroom.
  • You are required to bring personal gloves or to take a pair of disposable gloves. You may want to bring your own to open the school's front doors.
  • Once in the building, please secure all classroom items in cabinets, desks, and shelves. Joyce Laurita will place a building checkout form in each of your mailboxes. Please use this form to organize what needs to be completed prior to the end of the year. With the exception of securing room contents, all checkout form items will be completed electronically.
  • I understand that some staff members will require more than one day to secure all classroom items. If you are in this unique situation, please let me know and we will work together to develop a plan.

Senior Grades - Since we needed to move up graduation by days, please finish senior grades by the end of the day Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Please let me know if individual situations prevent you from completing senior grades by this date.
