Important Information
AP Exams - Advanced Placement Exams are all finished! Teachers, thank you for your work in preparing our students for these modified exams. I know it was a scramble at first, but you worked hard to become familiar with what was expected of the students when they sat for the test. Nice job!
Senior Grades Due - Please make sure senior grades are due by the end of the day on Tuesday, May 26. Please email students' counselors and principals early on Tuesday if you expect a senior will not pass for the year. Thank you.
Underclass Grades - Please make sure all 9-11 student grades are entered by the end fo the day on Friday, June 5, 2020.
Senior Awards Presentation - Thank you to everyone that contributed to this year's Senior Awards Ceremony. It was great to see so many of our departments represented in the presentation. Jim Kish is putting the final touches on the video, and we will release a link to students and presenters on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Graduation - The commencement ceremony will take place over two days - June 1 and June 2. Graduation will start at 8:00 A.M. and end at 7:00 P.M. on both days. These long hours are needed to give every student seven minutes to safely walk across the stage and be recognized by the school and their family for a job well done. Please let me know if you can help. Any time you devote would be appreciated. Please just send me an email letting me know a time that works for you. Thanks.
Senior Accolades - I am in the process of compiling a list of local, regional, and state academic accolades members of the class of 2020 have received this year. If you advised a club, activity, or team or have entered a subject area competition in which our seniors competed, please let me know the accomplishments received. Thank you to those of you who already submitted your students' achievements.
Evaluation Wrap Up - On Thursday, May 28, 2020, I will hold an open Zoom session to go over your Final Summative Rating for Teacher Effectiveness. The hours will be from 9:30 to 11:30 AM and from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. I will send you a Zoom link in your email this week. You need to meet with me sometime on Thursday if you have not already met with me to receive your Final Summative Rating. These meetings will be short. You do not need to meet with me if you elected not to be evaluated this year due to COVID.
