Important Information
Connectedness Chart -Evidence shows that students who feel cared for by adults in their school and those that feel part of the school's culture will perform better academically, have higher attendance rates and will less likely be involved in disciplinary issues. Mr. Callahan and Ms. Sargent have created an extremely valuable tool that can be used by all staff to identify any student needing to feel connected to our building. If you haven't already, please take a moment to identify students you have made a connection with. Please revisit this chart in a week and identify and reach out to any student needing a connection. Click here to access the chart.
HS Website - If you advise a club, activity or coach a sport, please make sure that portion of the high school's website is correct and up to date. Any changes for athletics, clubs and activities should be directed to Lisa Porter. Classroom websites are the responsibility of the teacher and also should be kept up to date.
Calendar - Club and activity advisers need to make sure all events are posted on the high school's calendar. Updates and changes need to be directed to Lisa Porter who will make sure the events are listed on our school's calendar.
Report Cards - Report cards are now posted on students' Infinite Campus accounts. An email describing the new reporting method was sent home to all HS families on Friday. On Monday, all homeroom teachers should communicate this with their students. Report cards can be found by clicking on the "Reports" link on the main page after logging in. It is important to note that when a students grade is changed with Michelle, the report card will also update online.
Academic Support Forms - Be sure to complete academic support forms for struggling students. All proceedures for completing the form can be found on the Academic Support Forms link found at the top of this page or by clicking here.
Staff Member - Unfortunately, we had more sad news last week for a member of our staff. Molly Brunner lost her father. Please keep Molly and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she struggles with the loss of her dad. The obituary for Mr. Weinfurtner can be found here.
