Important Information
Open House - Thank you for a successful open house. The building and your classrooms looked good. I heard many positive comments from parent regarding the evening. As it is every year, attendance for the upper grades tends to tail off. I will work with our staff throughout the year to determine a better plan to get parents in the building for the important evening. Feel free to share ideas if you have them. Thanks.
Homecoming Volunteers - Please consider volunteering your time to assist Stephanie Meyer with homecoming this year. This year's homecoming game will be played on September 23 and the dance will be on Saturday, September 24th. Let Stephanie know if you are available. Thanks.
504 and IEP - Please make sure you stay familiar with the IEP and 504 documents for each relevant student in your class. All documents must be followed as noted. If you have questions regarding a student's 504, please see their guidance counselor. IEP questions should be directed to the child's Intervention Specialist.
Spirit Shop Discounts - The Spirit Shop will have their Annual Staff Shopping Day onTuesday, September 13 from 2pm–6pm. All WG Staff will receive 20% off their purchase. This is the only time the 20% will be honored. All other days it’s 10% for staff. The Spirit Shop is located in the HS in the gym hallway.
