Important Information
Baby Branch - Ella Jane Branch was born on Friday 10/23/2015. She weighed in at 8 lbs 13 oz and was 21.75 inches long. Sara had a very long labor but is doing well and we are enjoying time with the newest branch of our family tree! Congratulations, Jason and Sara!
Practice SAT - The West Geauga Education Foundation is sponsoring an opportunity for our students to practice the SAT on Saturday, Octobers 31st. Please encourage our students to participate in this valuable experience. Students may sign up in the guidance office this week. See flyer to the right for additional information.
Athletics - Many of our athletics teams had a great week. On Friday, our football team secured the CVC title and a playoff spot by defeating Perry 49-28. Both the Girls and Boys Soccer teams won their Sectional Final Games by defeating Geneva and Perry, respectively. Also, Deanna Swinnerton continues her success on the cross country courses as she finished 8th at the District Meet. She will compete in the Regional Meet this week in Boardman. Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and their coaches! Go Wolverines!
Public School Works - Please make sure to complete your required training in Public School Works. All training needs to be completed by October 30th.
PD Day - Thank you for your participation and engagement at last week's PD Day. The day was established to provide data, outline district goals and to provide you with self reflective material as you plan your lessons and instructional strategies. West Geauga High Local Schools is an outstanding organization that can and will demonstrate growth. We need to lean on each other, collaborate and live outside our comfort zone in order to grow as individuals and a group. Keep up the good work!
