Important Information
Math Tournament - The Ohio Council of Teachers of Math is sponsoring the 2016 Math Tournament. If you or any of your students are interested, click here for more information.
Late Students - Please be sure you hold students accountable for being late to your class by issuing points. Send students to the attendance office if they are late to first period. The hallway is full of students after the bell rings to begin class.
Academic Support - Thank you to all of you for submitting academic support forms. This is an extremely valuable tool that the CAP team looks at every week. Please remember to have your submissions for struggling students by the end of each week. Forms need to be completed when a student begins to struggle in your class, at three weeks and again at six weeks. You will then need to provide continuous documentation of attempted interventions with the struggling learner. Once a student begins to "trend up" and show passing grades, you will no longer need to submit support forms. As I have stated, communication with the student and parent regarding this process is extremely important. This plan should be created with the student's input. Please click the Academic Support Form at the top of this page in order to submit a form and/or to learn more information regarding the process.
