Important Information

Professional Growth Plan - All teachers need to complete their Professional Growth Plan in eTPES. Click here for an example provided by the state.

Monitor Halls - Please stand at your door between periods. Not only does this help curb any negative behavior, it is a nice gesture to greet the students as they enter your room.

Cafe Achieve - Cafe Achieve is up and running after a lot of time spent planning, building, organizing, training and ordering.  It is a big difference from the back corner of the cafeteria where it began. Thank you to Jessica Duncan, Danielle Emans and their students for putting much time and effort to make this store possible. Cindy Widing and Steve Starrett also made huge contributions to the store opening. The cafe was primarily funded through private, corporate and non-profit donors including West G's Athletic Boosters. A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will occur when a few additional details are finished being put on the cafe. Store hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Please do not allow your students to travel to the store during the class period unless it is with your explicit permission. Students are expected to arrive to class on time and please do not accept an excuse that they were making a purchase in the cafe.

ASCD -  This month's Education Leaders magazine from ASCD couldn't have arrived at more of an appropriate time.  It is chock-full of articles relating to data usage in schools, plc's and classrooms. Department heads, please share this issue with your teachers since many of the articles online require a subscription.  Here are some articles you will want to read:
