Important Information

Senior Awards Night - On February 10th, Joyce Laurita emailed out this document asking for you to submit senior awards to be given out at the May 11 Senior Awards night.   In light of PBIS and the positive results that occur when we recognize students, take the time to congratulate and thank our seniors for the great things they are doing in our school.  If you are an advisor to a club or group, please make sure you submitted an award for the evening's ceremony.  This is also an appropriate time to submit department awards.  Please submit the forms to Joyce by the end of the day on Thursday, April 30th.

Relay for Life - April 27th--May 13th teachers will be competing and collecting for Relay for Life. Teachers and students will have a chance to donate $1.00 and post a cupcake with their name on it. The teachers will collect the $1.00 and post the cupcakes in their rooms. See who can collect the most!  WGEA will have a team too! Email cindy.ojanpa@westg.org or see Cindy O'Janpa to sign-up for a walking time. We need at least two teachers (family members are welcome) to walk every hour from 3 - 11 P.M. in our stadium on June 13th. Go to RelayForLife.org/WestGeaugaOH for more info.

Kickstart College Fair - The Kickstart College Fair is tonight at West Geauga High School.  Please encourage all underclassmen to attend this event where over 70 colleges and universities will be on our campus!  Click here for more information.

Graduation Help - On April 21, Chelsea Talty emailed out a request for help with the graduation festivities.  Please let her know if you will be able to assist.

Pop Machine Fund - Mr. Walton has devoted many years to making sure the pop machine provided funds for staff lunches and celebrations. Thank you for all of your years of service, Mr. Walton. We are now in need of someone to step forward and pick up where Mr. Walton left off. Please let me know if you are interested and I can get you all the information you need. Thanks. (No one stepped forward last week.  Please let me know if you are interested.)

Halls - There are several students in the halls after the bell rings to begin class.  Please hold students accountable for getting to your class on time.  Issue points to students that are tardy to class.  Make every minute in your class count!

Activity Period - Please let Mr. Murawski know if you are interested in hosting a club/activity next year during the activity period and how often you would like to meet.  (i.e. once a week, once a month, etc.)

PLC Feedback Form - At the top of the this blog on the right is a new link for the PLC Feedback Forms.  Please use this link to submit your feedback following your PLC meeting.  All staff members should be represented weekly in this form.
