Important Information

Homecoming Week Events - Thank you to Ms. Rischar for putting together a great homecoming week.  Please see the link here for more information including the altered bell schedule for Wednesday and Friday.

Flash Mob, WHAT? - Thank you to everyone that agreed to participate in this fun event that all of our students will love and talk about for a long time. There will be a practice in the gym on Tuesday immediately after school.  Please stop by if you can attend.  You can still participate in the flash mob even if you can't attend the practice.  If you haven't already, let Stephanie know you are interested so she can get you in the map. PLEASE keep quiet from the students!  Here are the links to the videos to help you get ready:

Calendar - If you advise a club, group or have events that need to be on the school calendar, please send information to Pam so it can be placed on the high school's calendar.

Progress Reports - Progress reports are due on Tuesday, September 23 at the end of the day.  Any student that is getting a D or an F in your class should have a progress report mailed home.

PTO - PTO is looking for a teacher that is to willing to represent the building at PTO meetings. It is not a large commitment since there are only two meetings left this year. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you in advance.  Only eight of us have joined PTO this year. Please consider joining/donating by completing this application and submitting $8.00 to their mailbox in the main office.

OTES - On September 17, 2014, ODE released a new framework for scoring teachers final summative rating.  Be sure to check it out here.

PARCC - PARCC has set office hours on Twitter on September 22 from 5-6 pm if you want to ask a question or two.  Use the hashtag #askPARCC.  Even if you don't have a question, follow the hashtag to see what other people are asking.

SLO Reviews- Nancy B. and I will be meeting with each of your PLC teams to discuss your SLOs. These meetings will take place during the school day and coverage will be provided if needed.  A schedule will be sent out early this week.

Academic Referral Forms - Good job completing the academic support forms.  By now any student struggling in your course since the first or second week should have a form on file.  The link to the forms is found at the top of this page.  On my September 1 bulletin, I noted a few changes for this year.  One change was the ability to now go back and edit your support form.  Since this change was implemented, the email you receive has a link you can click to go back and edit your form.  ***DELETE THIS LINK prior to sending it to a counselor, parent or student.  Unfortunately, this link will allow anyone with a WG account to edit the form.
