OGT Week - Please encourage anyone taking the test to get a good night's rest and to eat a good breakfast prior to arriving at school.

OGT Week Bell Schedule -Click here to be directed to our website where the week's bell schedule is listed.   Please communicate this schedule with all students and explain that 9th and 10th grade students need to be in the building at 7:30.

Winter Sports Wrap-up - The winter sport season for the school year is officially in the books for the school year.  Thank you to all who devoted many hours working with our student athletes.  Congratulations to the following teams/athletes for their success during the season. The Boys Hockey team won the Blue Division League Championship of the GCHSHL as well as the Baron Cup III Championship. Ryan Gleske finished 15 ^th in the 50 freestyle at state, Kristin Boni finished 20^th in the 100 breaststroke at States and Kyle Wells finished 19^th in diving. Five wrestlers qualified to the District Tournament; Ashton Peck, Rob Alcorn, David Eippert, AJ Vetturini and Joe Fornaro.  This past weekend saw Caroline Wolfhope compete in the uneven bars at the State Gymnastic Tournament where she placed 31st out of 36.  We look forward to seeing her on the team for another three years at WG!  Congratulations to all.

Bloom's Taxonomy, PARCC and NGA -  In order to better prepare our students for the PARCC and Next Generation Assessments, we need to make sure we understand the questioning format used by these new assessments. Please understand that these tests will require the use of high order thinking skills by our students.  What are you doing to get them ready for these questions?  Please use the two images below for reference in planning your lessons.
