Important Information

Welcome Back! - I hope you had a safe and restful break.  I wish all of you a happy and healthy 2021!

Supporting Students - As we head into the second semester, we need to continue to prepare our students for the high stakes assessments that the state is currently planning to administer.  As with any subject, it is essential that we utilize your data meetings to address the learning needs of all students.  Interventions need to be provided for students that are not on track to be successful with an assessment.  These interventions need to be documented during your data meetings.  As part of the MTSS process, Jackie Hersh and Leah Kirkpatrick will join several of your meetings in order to present ideas and work with you to support your students.  If you are struggling to reach a particular student, please reach out to the MTSS team by completing this form.   Thank you for the work you do in order to ensure our students are successful in the classroom.

PBIS - Thank you to Mike Mikes for presenting the PBIS plan for the high school.  Great job!  Also, thank you to our team for organizing the materials and developing the high school PBIS programs. Team members include David Callahan, Sarah Widman, Sarah Thrasher, Mike Mikes, Jackie Hersh, Leah Kirkpatrick, Shawn Krippel, and me. Feel free to reach out to any one of us to add suggestions or comments regarding the implementation of the program or by completing the form at this link. All resources can be found in your Google Classroom. Again, please work to complete at least one report of positive student behavior report per day.

Gifted Students and Report Cards - As a reminder, WEPs for gifted students require one of the following report card comments for the subject areas they have a WEP.  Feel free to write your own comment rather than use the numbers below.

  • 903 Students has met the goals of the written WEP;
  • 904 Student is working towards the goals of the written WEP;
  • 905 Student has not met the goals of the written WEP.
Grade Due - Please make sure your second quarter grades have been entered in Infinite Campus by the end of the day on Thursday, January 7th.
