Important Information
AIR Test Dates - AIR Assessments dates have been posted on our school calendar. The dates are as follows:
April 15 - ELA Part I
April 16 - ELA Part II
April 19 - Social Studies Parts I
April 20 - Social Studies Parts II
April 22 - Science Part I
April 23 - Science Part II
April 27 - Math Part I
April 28 - Math Part II
If you teach students in the above-tested areas, please advise them of their test dates. Students needing to make up exams will be provided time within the testing window. Please note with your students that if they are absent during the test dates and miss the makeup assignment, they will need to test during the summer.
PBIS - Hopefully you were able to find positive student behavior to recognize last week. Students should be recognized for positive behavior in the areas of Respect, Responsibility, and Ready to Learn. The positive reward can be as simple as a note or email sent to the student you wish to recognize for their work. After you have recognized a student, please complete this form. Thank you!
Grades - (From last week's email) The last nine or ten months have been rough for so many of our students and families. The students appreciate the flexibility you have given them with completing assignments and the extra time necessary to master class lessons and concepts. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Please reach out to students who still have not mastered your instruction and provide opportunities for them to learn the material. Grades can still be altered after report cards are posted. Our goal for having students master the curriculum is certainly more important than deadlines placed on a calendar. Please continue to reach out to your students, especially those earning D’s or F’s, to let them know what opportunities are still available for growth.
