October 9 - No School - Yom Kippur
October 10 - 5:00-8:00 Parent-Teacher Conferences
October 11 - No School Students and Staff
October 15 - Staff Meeting
October 16 - PSAT given to all sophomores and interested juniors.
October 17 - End of the 1st quarter
October 18 - 1/2 PD Day 1/2 Teacher Work Day
October 23 - Picture Retake Day
October 14 - Fire Drill - 9:15 A.M.
November 1 - PD Day - No School for Students
Important Information
December EOC Test - The December EOC Test schedule has been published on the staff calendar. Students needing to pass an assessment will be tested between December 2 and December 11. A schedule of students with their exact test dates will be published to the staff.
Door Security - Students needing to go to their vehicle during the school day need to get permission from either Mr. Krippel or me. Once permissions has been granted, students carry a pass and exit and enter through the main office doors. Please do not allow students to leave your supervision to go outside. Students may not prop doors or hold open for another student.
Pacing Guides and Curriculum Maps - Thank you to Sarah Thasher for creating a video on how to add hyperlinks to a Google Doc. This feature is helpful when organizing your assessments and lessons in your maps and pacing guides. Click here for a link to Sarah's video.
Academic Support Forms - Be sure to complete academic support forms for struggling students. All procedures for completing the form can be found on the Academic Support Forms link found at the top of this page or by clicking here. The grading period ends in three weeks. Document the work you are doing to ensure students are successful by completing these forms.
Grades - Please keep parents and students apprised of their course progress. This means keeping grades up to date in the grade book, proper communication through email and completing academic support forms when required. No parent or student should be surprised by a grade received in a course. Proper communication and partnering with parents will go a long way in the success of our students.
