STARS Holiday Boutique Fundraiser - The hugely successful holiday fundraiser is back! STARS will once again sell holiday items using their online boutique. Items include cookie and soup ingredients, chocolate pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels, coaster, holiday ornaments and gifts for the family pet. Pumpkin Chuckin - As you can see from the photo at the top of this bulletin, several of our students and staff braved unfavorable weather conditions to compete in the area Pumpkin Chuckin Trebuchet Contest on Saturday. The competition included area high and middle schools, families and organizations. Our two teams fared well and gained a lot ideas for next year's competition. Congratulations and thank you to Alan Duncan for organizing the school's participation. Also, thank you to rest of our science department for working with our students and supporting them this weekend.
Boys Soccer - West Geauga Boys Soccer Team captured the District Championship on Saturday by defeating NDCL in overtime by a score of 3-2. Be sure to congratulate these guys for their outstanding play that captured the school's first District Championship since 2004. Click her for the CVC article on the team's win.
Teacher Websites - If you advise a club, activity or coach a sport, please make sure that portion of the high school's website is correct and up to date. Any changes for athletics, clubs and activities should be directed to Lisa Porter. All events that involve groups of students should be added to the school calendar. Again, provide Lisa with these dates and she will add them to the calendar. Classroom websites are the responsibility of the teacher and also should be kept up to date.
