Monitor Halls - Please stand at your door between periods. Not only does this help curb any negative behavior, it is a nice gesture to greet the students as they enter your room.
From ODE regarding End of Course Exams - A half-length practice test for Grades 3-8 and partial release of the spring 2016 items from the high school end of course exams for mathematics are now available in the Test Portal. Previously, in fall 2016, half-length practice test for high school end of course exams for mathematics were released in the Test Portal. These items give educators and parents insight into the kinds of questions students will experience on the spring 2017 Ohio State Tests. Teachers can also use the half-length practice tests as a tool to inform classroom
OTES - In your eTPES account, there is a tab labeled Evidence & Artifacts. Throughout the year, when you complete work that exemplifes what you do in the classroom, upload it as evidence in this tab. For example, communication with families, formative assessments, summative assessments, lesson plans, evidence of students' knowledge and skills, documentation of data analyzation, writing prompts, differentiation techniques, etc. can all be uploaded and used during the evaluation process.
