Important Information

Juried Art Show - Be sure to congratulate Kaitlyn DiBiase, Gabriella Engoglia, Sarah Rowen and Shannon Stanforth who's art pieces will be displayed at Beachwood Arts Council’s (BAC) 21st Annual Juried Regional High School Student Art Show. Thank you, Andi Janke for putting working to enter their pieces in the show and creating a press release to publicize their accomplishments. The exhibition will feature artworks by students from 22 area high schools and will be on view February 12 - March 5 at the Beachwood Community Center. See the entire press release here.

Shakespeare Competition - Four students competed to the 2017 West Geauga High School Shakespeare Competition on February 1st after school.  Be sure to congratulate Angela Volcensek for winning the competition for the second year in a row!  Thank you to James K. and Cindy O. for working with the competitors and to Chris C. and Keli S. for helping to judge this year's competition.  Angela will now compete against 35 area high school winners for an opportunity to win the national competition in NYC in April.

5 Minutes for Life - During advisory periods on Thursday, an Ohio State Trooper will be at West Geauga High School to present their Five Minutes for Life presentation.  Five Minutes for Life is a program about "about responsible decision-making, leadership and encouraging those in their peer group to live a drug-free lifestyle." The presentation will be given during each of the advisory periods.  Please excuse available students to the main gym to listen to the officer speak.  Thank you.

Academic Support Forms - Don't forget to submit your Academic Support Forms when a student struggles in your class.  Be sure the email you receive after submitting a form is forwarded to the parents with any necessary personal comments.
