Weekly Bulletin for January 16, 2017

Congratulations to our many of our students who were
awarded an academic letter and pin at an assembly last week.
Students receiving the award achieved a GPA of 3.75 or higher
during the preceding school year.

Important Information

Remind - Most of you are using Remind.com to communicate with parents are students.  If not, please consider this communication tool.  With encouragement from staff, I have explored the Remind tool and created an account for staff.  I will use this to send out mass text message to the staff when needed.    Sign up by texting @WGHS1 to 81010.  This account is strictly for staff.   I will use another "class" to send messages to parents and students.  Thanks Kristin G. and Mike S. for teaching me how to use this communication tool.

Academic Support Forms - Please remember to complete Academic Support Forms for any student struggling in your classroom.   Procedures and instructions can be found by clicking here or on the Academic Support Form tab at the top of this page.

Swimmers and Divers - Please keep an eye out for any swimmer or diver that may be struggling with the death of a Beachwood swimmer and friend.  Some have begun to heal by meeting with teammates, attending a meeting at Beachwood High School and competing this weekend.  Plans for a funeral/services will be made available to the team.

Staff Member - Please keep Suzanne Fletcher in your thoughts and prayers and she struggles with the loss of her father-in-law this weekend.

Observations - If you have not done so already, please schedule an observation with your assigned principal.  For those being formally observed this year, we are currently scheduling for the second round of observations.  Thanks.
