Important Information
AIR Test Information - I have created a link at the top of this page that is devoted to West Geauga's testing week. We will go over much of this information at the staff meeting on Monday. Please be sure your review your specific responsibilities prior to the end of the week and let me know if you need any assistance or have any questions. A big thank you to Kim Zannetti, Kim Glessner and Michelle Sargent for assisting with the organization of the test.
Parent Communication - Several of you have sent some very positive messages home to your students' families regarding the hard work they have put into their learning leading up the the AIR assessments. It is also nice to see you have included resources they can utilize with their children as they help prepare them for next week. This parent/teacher relationship is an important piece of student growth and you are to be commended for fostering this relationship. Keep up the great work.
AIR Week Communication - Teachers that have a tested subject must explain the testing and bell schedule for the week with their students. It is extremely important that all students know what days and time they are to be at school to take their end-of-course exams. Testing room locations will be distributed to each student this week. Testing information and the bell schedule is found on the high school's website. If you haven't done so already, give the students information and resources for practice tests, notes, etc. Post this on your website and note it in class.
