Homecoming Week - Thank you to Mrs. Meyer for sending out the homecoming events in an email. I have created a folder that contains all homecoming week information and it can be found here.

WEDGE - Our Education Foundations is currently accepting applications and will continue to do so until Sunday, October 18 at 5 pm. Anyone in the district may apply.  In the past, the Foundation has awarded up to $1500 to teachers, student groups and staff as long as their project meets the trustee's review for innovation. All applications must be approved by the school's principal.  If someone, or a group, has questions regarding the application, they should contact Chris Kiec, Program Chair, at 216.276.0597 or by email at chriskiec@gmail.com.The following link: http://www.wgef.dreamhosters.com/programs/ contains a discussion of what the board does fund and a link to the application.

Academic Support Forms - Great job on the support form submissions.  The CAP Team will meet this week to discuss all 98 submissions.  Please remember that parents, teachers and guidance counselors should receive a forwarded email after you complete a Academic Support Form.  Continue to change intervention strategies until you find a technique that works for the struggling student and document your efforts in the form.

Weekly Calendars - Lisa Porter has put together a nice calendar that she will update for the staff that contains school, classroom and athletic events all in one location.  Here is the link to the calendar.  Please let Lisa know if you have something that should be added to the school or staff calendar and she will make sure it gets on this list, too.
