| Three-Tiered RTI Process from PBIS.org |
Academic Tutoring -Advisory period tutoring is listed as one intervention strategy on the academic support form. Please use this as one of your strategies to assist students. In fact, require the students to attend tutoring if they are struggling in your class. If attendance is required, contact the tutoring instruction and check to see if they attended by clicking here. Issue a cut to the student that does not attend.
Positive Phone Calls - Hopefully all of you have had the opportunity to make at least one positive phone call home regarding a student in your classroom. If not, consider it this week. Great things are happening in your classrooms and parents should know about it.
PLC Forms - Please understand that the new PLC Feedback Form should drive conversations you have in your group. It is not expected you respond to every question ever week; however, all questions should be part of your conversation over a three week period. Please fill in the fields that are discussed and identify plans to address other field questions.
Student Tardies - Please maximize instructional time by making sure students are in your class at the beginning of the period. Send students to the office when they are late to first period and issue points when they are late throughout the rest of the day.
