Important Information

PBIS Review - During last week's PBIS, ten students and ten teachers were interviewed regarding the students' expectations and processes we have in place to recognize students for meeting expectations.  The auditor told me to let you know that "her socks were blown off" by how well everyone did.  Great job!  As a building, we have demonstrated a growth of over 50% since our last audit.  This places us in a category to get a bronze award if all submitted evidence substantiates the award. In addition to our entire team consisting of Kristin C., Mike M., Shawn K. Sarah T. Leah K. and me, David C. and Sarah W. pulled all of the evidence together and submitted it for final review on Friday.  Thank you to this great group who organized the work and the entire HS staff for implementing the program.  We have plans next year to attain a gold rating, and it involves all of you.

Remote Students - Teachers, please note we have several students who have moved temporarily to remote instruction.  The changes in IC will be made first thing morning in your attendance, so please log in to Zoom to catch any student needing to access your class.  These students will appreciate it.

Underclass Academic Awards - Thank you all for the contribution you made to the Underclass Awards Ceremony video.  Our students and their families appreciate the recognition.  We recognized 358 students in the program and on the video. Nice work!  A big thank you to Mrs. Laurita for organizing the entire event!  She did a great job!  Also, thank you to Mr. Kish for recording and editing all of the videos.  To date, the video has 777 views!

Math End-of-Couse Exams - This week marks our final week of end-of-course test administration. Please make sure you are familiar with the calculator policies regarding the math assessments. Also, be sure you know how to reset all calculators in the room before taking the test.  Part of resetting the calculators INCLUDES setting the devices back from radian mode to degree mode. Students have the option of using the embedded DESMOS calculator many are familiar with.  Be sure to click here to watch Kathleen's video on how to reset calculators.    All students will get two pieces of graph paper for each 90 minute part of the test.

Senior Final Exams - Please see the information below regarding senior final exams.  A complete final exam schedule for underclass students will come out this week.
