Important Information
PD Day - Nothing says love like a PD Day on Valentine's Day! You can find the HS's PD schedule here. If you are absent, you will be required to make up this training. Please let me know if I missed anyone on this schedule.
Wednesday's Assembly -We will have an all-school assembly this Wednesday as our band program receives an official invitation to play in London's New Year's Day Parade. Here is the modified bell schedule for the day. We will dismiss students at approximately 9:42. Please keep students in the room until announcements are made by Mr. Krippel. Please dismiss band students at 9:15. Students will sit with third period teachers. Seating map is found here. Please see last week's bulletin for more information.
Parent Emails/Phone Calls - When parents contact you, they are often requesting information or are reaching out to convey a message. Please reply appropriately and in a timely manner. If no information is requested, a simple "thank you" will go a long way. Thanks.
ACT Pre-Administration Session - Juniors will participate in the Pre-Administration session for the ACT on Monday, February 10th at 12:00 pm. Students should report to the cafeteria with a number two pencil and a list of colleges they would like to receive their scores. Please remind students as you see them Monday morning.
Academic Decathlon - Congratulations to our Academic Decathlon team on a first-place finish in their division and a 3rd place finish in the state. Our team took home 47 medals in a possible 90 areas, and 13 out of 17 team members medaled. Junior Illianna Levenson medaled in 8 out of 10 areas, and junior Sofya Goncharenko had the highest overall score for the team, with senior Hannah Barker only 7 points behind (they both had over 5200 points each). Over the years, this team does very well in the competitions. Thank you for leading this group, Mr. Speros!
Monitor Halls - Please stand at your door before school, after school and between periods. Not only does this help curb any negative behavior, but it is also a nice gesture to greet the students as they enter your room. Thank you.
