Important Information

AIR Test Dates - AIR Assessments dates have been posted on our school calendar.  The dates are as follows:

• April 16 - ELA Part I
• April 17 - ELA Part II
• April 20 - Social Studies Parts I
• April 21 - Social Studies Parts II
• April 23 - Science Part I
• April 24 - Science Part II
• April 24 - Last day to complete an ELA exam
• April 27 - Math Part I 
• April 28 - Math Part II
• May 4 - Last day to complete a social studies, science or math exam.

If you teach students in the above-tested areas, please advise them of their test dates.  Students needing to make up exams will be provided time within the testing window.  Please note with your students that if they are absent during the test dates and miss the make up assignment, they will need to test during the summer.

Newbury Open House - The open house for Newbury parents and students is this Wednesday.  Thank you to all of you who plan on participating in the event. Please bring materials relevant to your subject, club, team, or activity.  Name tags and sign up sheets will be provided.  All groups will meet in the high school cafeteria where you will be provided with a four-foot table and two chairs.  Please let me know if there is anything else you need.

School Information - If you advise a club or coach an activity, please be sure to send your announcements to the West G TV crew at Westg.tv@westg.org.  Be sure to include announcements recognizing students for outstanding and team accomplishments.  West G TV is always looking for good news to put on the air.  Thanks.

Period Attendance - Please take accurate period attendance throughout the entire year. This information is reported to ODE through EMIS.

Baby Sines - Megan and Roger recently welcomed their new daughter to the world.  Scarlett Monroe was born on Saturday, January 4, 2020.  Congratulations, Roger!
