Important Information
Openhouse for Newbury - On January 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., we will host a club/team/activity and parent group open house for Newbury students and parents. If you coach a sport or receive a supplemental for a club or activity, I invite you to attend and greet Newbury families. If you meet with students during advisory period as an informal club, we would love to have you and some of your students at the open house, too. A table will be provided for you in the cafeteria. Please bring sign up sheets and a handout for parents and students. Please complete this form by Friday, December 19, 2019. Thank you!
Staff Meeting - Please don't forget to join us for our Holiday Staff Meeting on Tuesday immediately after school. In addition to snacks, entertainment will be provided by our choir and band students. See you Tuesday!
PTO Holiday Luncheon - West G MS and HS PTO is generously providing lunch for you on Thursday at 11:30 in the teachers' lounge. Be sure to thank our parents if you see them helping out!
Midterm Exams - Thank you all for the communication you provided the students regarding this year's midterm exams. Not many students made alternative plans to take exams early due to previously arranged travel plans. I have communicated with individual teachers regarding students that needed to take exams early. All other students will take exams according to the posted schedule. Please encourage students needing extra support to come to see you during Tuesday morning's review session.
