Plant of the Month Club - Don't get left out on this opportunity! Every year, the Excel Tecc Horticulture program offers teachers and staff membership their Plant of the Month Club. This program will deliver a plant for you every month that you can use to brighten someone's day (or your own). Click here for more information and to print a membership form.
Read & Write for Google - As described in Friday's PD, Read and Write for Google is a Chrome add-on that has been pushed out to student Chromebooks. Many of our students are already using this program and it can be beneficial for students in your class. Please take the time to review this option to see how students can benefit. Here is the video that was presented to the HS staff on Friday.
Observation Process - If you are not being observed through the Formal Observation process this year, you are being Informally Observed. Please schedule your informal observation with your supervising principal. Thank you.
Cross-Country State Championships - Be sure to congratulate Grace Gyetko and Parick Garrett who finished 54th and 99th, respectively. Thank you to John Boylan and Mike Taurasi for working with Grace and Patrick to prepare these state qualifying runners.
Field Trips - Please pardon my incorrect post last week regarding field trips. No longer are we to check with Mrs. Poelking to see if parents approved blanket field trips when they sent in the opening school forms. Instead, when seeking a field trip, please be sure all students complete this notification form. Check with our nurse, Dawn Mansfield, to see if your students may require medication during the school day. Medication administration certification is required to take students on a field trip.
