Prom - It was another great West Geauga High School Prom on Friday. Thank you, Chelsea and Phil, for all of your hard work to make sure it was a nice event for all those that attended. Also, a big thank you to Keli, Theresa, Chris R., Molly, Stephane and Ethan for helping chaperone the dance. Be sure to congratulate Jordyn Peterson and Mohammed Aidja on being named Prom Queen and King.
Final Exam Schedule - Please adhere to the final exam schedule as posted. Do not allow students to change their final schedule unless permission has been granted through the main office. I will communicate with you if an exam needs to be moved. Thank you.
Senior Grades - Please note on the calendar the seniors last day of exams is May 31st. This is also the day the senior grades are due. This is scheduled so we can finalize graduation requirements and honors. Please plan accordingly.
Supplementals - Those interested in supplemental contracts for next year should submit their applications to me by summer vacation. All supplemental positions are open. We are currently looking for junior and senior class advisors for next year. If interested, please let me know ASAP. Thank you.
Senior Awards Night - Thank you to all of our presenters for recognizing students this past Monday. It was a wonderful evening where many of our students received recognition from our staff and scholarships from generous community members and alumni. Please consider recognizing students next year if you didn't this year. Students and parents truly appreciate the recognition presented by you.
Senior Accolades - I am in the process of compiling a list of local, regional and state academic accolades members of the Class of 2019 have received this year. If you advised a club, activity or team or have entered a subject area competition in which our seniors competed, please let me know the accomplishments received.
Academic Support Forms - Be sure to complete academic support forms for struggling students. All procedures for completing the form can be found on the Academic Support Forms link found at the top of this page or by clicking here.
Graduation Help - Please let us know if you are able to attend graduation and/or the rehearsal that morning. See Ms. Talty or Mr. Shiban with any questions. Please note that this year graduation and rehearsal take place on a day of underclassmen final exams. Thank you! If you come to help on the evening of the ceremony, you will be allowed to leave at NOON on Monday, June 10th.
