Academic Decathlon - Congratulations to Ben Speros and the Academic Decathlon team on their third-place finish in the state competition this weekend. A big congratulations to Mariana Valdez-Punales on scoring the highest in the state and Hannah Barker for having the highest overall score for the team.
Musical - Many of our students put on a great performance at the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee musical this weekend. Thank you to the staff members who attended and supported our students in the production. Some of you made it on stage and enjoyed being a part of the musical. Thank you to Melanie Kennedy for your hard work over the last few months to make the performance a success. Also, Thank you to Jason Branch and Taylor Uveges for the musical accompaniment.
Websites and Google Classroom - Please make sure all of your students and parents have access to your up to date class assignments, presentations, calendars, and resources online. If you use Google Classroom, please be sure that parents know how to view the material through the parent account. Thank you.
Observations - Any formal or informal observations still needing to be scheduled, please do so prior to spring break. Thanks.
Spring Break - This year has gone by so fast and it is hard to believe we are only a week away from Spring Break. When we return we will only have two weeks prior to the start of the AIR exams and just five weeks until AP Exams. Thank you for all of your hard work and often challenging experiences in ensuring our students succeed. Our students, families, community and I appreciate all you do. I hope all of you have a well-deserved spring break and are able to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
