Important Information

WG Good News! - West Geauga always looks to publish good things that are happening in the classroom.  If you have a creative lesson that you think would be good for the newspapers, website or social media accounts, please take some photos of the students engaged in the experience.  Send me the pictures along with a two to three sentence caption.  Feel free to invite me into your room to take the photos if you wish.  I would love to see the great activities.

Staff Meeting - Please don't forget to join us for our Holiday Staff Meeting on Tuesday immediately after school.  In addition to snacks, entertainment will be provided by our choir students.  We will also have another musical surprise for you at the meeting.  See you Tuesday!

Monday in Homeroom - Evidence shows that students who feel cared for by adults in their school and those that feel part of the school's culture will perform better academically, have higher attendance rates and will less likely be involved in disciplinary issues. For many years now we have asked staff members to identify students they feel they have a connection with.  This information was recorded on a connectedness chart.  This year we are asking the students to complete the connectedness chart.  On Monday, during the scheduled homeroom time, please have your students complete the connectedness survey.  The survey will be emailed to each student immediately after 1st period and can be completed either on Chromebooks or phones.  Thank you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
I wish all of you a wonderful break. Enjoy your holidays as you celebrate with family and friends.
