Edulastic Course - Edulastic is now offering a certified professional program. The program requires you to complete a course in order to become an expert on Edulastic digital assessments. Since so many of you use Edulastic, it would be a great opportunity for you to learn the ins and outs of the program. We will be offering contact hours that can be applied to your license renewal. Just make sure your IPDP goals align with assessment development or technology. Contact Mrs. Sessler if you have questions. Click here for information on becoming an Edulastic Certified Teacher.
Standards-Based Assessment Data - Many teachers have been meeting this year to review and discuss student performance in the classroom. Analyzed data includes student performance on standards-based formative and summative assessments as well as skill-based classroom activities. Regardless of required attendance at data meetings, all teachers need be utilizing an assessment tool that can provide data regarding student performance on state standards. Instructional decisions should be based on student performance as we work to ensure all students are successful in each high school course. Edulastic is just one tool that can be utilized to collect and organize student assessment performance results. I recognize that most of you are doing this using a variety of different tools. Following the winter break, standards-based assessment data will need to be available to be shared with school administrators, even if you are not using Edulastic. Please see either Mr. Dahlhofer or me if you need assistance in figuring out how this data should be collected and organized. Thank you.
Academic Support Forms - Please remember to complete Academic Support Forms for any student struggling in your classroom. Procedures and instructions can be found by clicking here or on the Academic Support Form tab at the top of this page.
