Important Information
Picture Day - School Picture day is Thursday, September 13, 2018. Teachers, please hand out your picture order forms to the students during second period homeroom on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Pictures will be taken during English classes. Click here to access the day's schedule. Staff, please make sure you get to the school's auxiliary gym sometime during the day to get your picture taken.
Evaluations - Click here for the Teacher Performance Review Schedule for the 2018-2019 school year. Regardless of the evaluation cycles, all teachers will need to complete a growth plan as part of your formal or informal evaluation. In your OTES growth plan, please be sure to address the building goals and their implementation in your professional work. Each year I truly look forward to the professional conversations that occur during the process. Ron and I look forward to beginning the process as soon as possible. - identify strategies used to help the struggling learner
- notify families when their child is struggling in class
- communicate with families of the struggling learner interventions utilized by the classroom teacher
- provide an opportunity for parents to become involved in the child learning
- notify the CAP team when a student struggles in one or multiple courses
- initiate a process where all students can be successful
Forms are to be completed by teachers when a student begins to struggle in the classroom, when a student continues to struggle for three weeks and then again at six weeks. Continued documentation forms are submitted throughout the year for a student that continues to struggle beyond six weeks.
You will receive an email with a record of your responses. A second email will be received from noreply@westg.org. This second email contains a letter that is automatically generated and sent to your student's parents. Keep this document for your records.
