21 years at the club level prior to being considered a varsity sport.

June 6 - Staff Cookout 12:30 P.M.

Important Information


LEAD 2018 - Looking for some PD over break?  Cuyahoga County ESC is holding their Second Annual LEAD 2018 Curriculum Technology Conference on June 12 & 13, 2018.  Check out the flyer to the right and this link for more information.  

Supplementals - Those interested in supplemental contracts for next year should submit their applications by summer vacation.

Senior Accolades - I am in the process of compiling a list of local, regional and state academic accolades members of the class of 2018 have received this year. If you advised a club, activity or team or have entered a subject area competition in which our seniors competed, please let me know the accomplishments received. Thank you to those of you who already submitted your students' accomplishments.

Senior Grades - Please note on the calendar the seniors last day of exams is May 25th.  This is also the day the senior grades are due. This is scheduled so we can finalize graduation requirements and honors. Please plan accordingly.

Advanced Placement Exams - Advanced Placement Exams are all finished.  Teachers, thank you for work in preparing our students for these assessments.  Counselors, thank you for your time organizing and administering the many AP exams. 

Staff Cookout - On June 6th at 12:30 P.M., we are holding a staff cookout in the courtyard.  Thank you to Dale Smith who volunteered to do much of the cooking.  We will hold a brief staff meeting following following lunch.

WGHS on TV - On Friday, May 25, 2018, WOIO Channel 19 will be broadcasting from West Geauga High School's gymnasium from 5:00-7:00 A.M. When approached with the idea from WOIO, they stated they would like to use this opportunity to showcase our school, students, teachers and all the great things we have accomplished this year. Please let me know if you advise a club, activity or team and you and your students want to promote your success story on WOIO's morning show.  Also, if you taught a class that deserved praise, consider showcasing them on this TV program. We are looking pack the gym by getting as many students and staff to join us for this nice opportunity that is open to all.
