Academic Awards Ceremony - As many of you know, the academics awards ceremony was held this past Wednesday. Thank you to David Callahan, Kim Zannetti, Sarah Thrasher, Kristin Gregory, Stephanie Meyer, Chelsea Talty and Ethan Teare for presenting awards to our students. If you didn't present an award, please consider doing so next year. Our student and families appreciate the recognition for outstanding work in and out of the classroom.
Testing - Last week's testing went off with very few troubles. Again, thank you for working so hard to ensure tests ran smoothly. On Wednesday and Thursday of this week will be the Biology End-of-Course Exam. Typical students will receive 90 minutes to complete each part of the assessment. Calculator are not permitted on the Biology exam.
Algebra and Geometry End-of-Course Exams will be given on April 30th and May 1st. Please reference this ODE Calculator Guidance Sheet for allowable calculators. Students may bring their own calculators to the math tests. WGHS math students are required to have a TI-83 or TI-84. If you encounter a calculator that is not typically used by our students, please seek Mr. Bishop or Ms. Cooey for assistance. Calculators must be cleared before AND after the tests.
Field Trips - Please remember that field trip requests must be submitted using on the appropriate form at least 15 days in advance of the scheduled trip. Completed forms must be submitted to me for a signature. I will forward to central office once approved.
