Important Information
Academic Support Forms - Please be sure to complete any support forms for struggling students.
Snowball Dance - It is crazy to think that the Snowball Dance is this weekend. Mrs. Meyer works very hard to ensure our students have a great evening and she needs your help. For those of you that have chaperoned dances in the past, it is sooo much fun. Not only do you get to see the students all dressed up, they get to see you in an environment outside the classroom. If you are brave, you can even join Mr. Dahlhofer and me in the gym to ensure students are making good choices on the dance floor. Teacher volunteers will be provided with unlimited quantities of water to ensure proper hydration. The dance will start at 8:00, but you don't have to be there until 7:45! Please tell Stephanie you are interested today!
Learning Environment - It is important that all of you adhere to the expectations we have for our students. Ensure school rules are being followed in the classroom. Students are not permitted to wear hats, hoods or bring book bags to class. If you see students are consistently violating these expectations, you need to issue suspension points. If students are reporting to class after the bell rings, issue suspension points. It is important that we all hold the students accountable for the rules that exist in school. It is much easier when everyone enforces the rules than just a few. Thank you.
Invitation to Contribute - Do you have something you would like to share on this bulletin? Have you recently discovered a successful student engagement activity that would benefit the entire staff? Are you doing something in the classroom that could benefit all of us? Have you recently read an article that we could all grow from? If the answer is yes, don't keep it to yourself. Send it to me and I will be happy to post it to this site.
