Important Information
Final Grades - Sarah Thrasher will present to the HS staff on Wednesday, May 24th at 2:35 in the HS library. The topic of the presentation will be the entering of exam, quarter and final grades in Infinite Campus. Please join the session if you need help entering grades.
Senior Grades - Please let the school counseling department know if any senior failed your course by the end of the day on Thursday. Senior grades are due Friday morning. The grade book is open for the entry of final exam and quarter grades. Senior cap and gowns will be distributed Friday after a first period clap out.
Senior Accolades - I am in the process of compiling a list of local, regional and state academic accolades members of the class of 2017 have received this year. If you advised a club, activity or team or have entered a subject area competition in which our seniors competed, please let me know the above information.
West Geauga Education Foundation - The West Geauga Education Foundation is looking for a teacher to represent the staff at meetings. Please see Mr. Bishop if you are interested or would like additional details.
Staff Cookout - On May 31st following exams, we are holding a staff cookout in the courtyard. Thank you to Dale Smith who volunteered to do much of the cooking. Due to the graduation rehearsal at the Palace Theater on June 1st, we will not hold a luncheon on the last day of school.

Athletics - With all of the rain this spring, it was a quick athletic season. Congratulations to our coaches and certain members of our track team who have advanced to the Regional Meet next week. Our 4x800 team consisting of Deanna Swinerton, Cristina Formichelli, Carlene Mishaga and Shannon Stanforth will compete at Austintown Fitch High School. Also vying for the OHSAA State Meet are Natalie Kosley (100M &200M), Deanna Swinerton (800M), and Alison D'Alessandro (Pole Vault). Best wishes to our athletes, Coach Boylan and Coach Taurasi this week!
End of the Year - Please make sure all end of the year lessons are relevant and engaging for all students. Please keep students out of the halls by limiting the number of issued passes.
Final Exam Calendar - Click here to access the 2017 Final Exam Calendar. Please adhere to this schedule and exams must be given during all classes. All students are expected to be in your classes on the day of the final exam. All students are expected to be working on a summative activity or exam during the testing period.
