Important Information

ACT - Thank you to Sarah Widman for completing much of the organizational work needed for Tuesday's ACT.  All juniors will arrive 7:25 and report to a designated testing area.  Rooms utilized will include the library, rooms 109-112, room 124 and the gymnasium.  The test will likely go into 5th period.  There will not be an adjusted bell schedule and it will be a typical school day for all other students.  Eleventh grade teachers should remind the students of the Tuesday's schedule.

Student Awards - Every year we recognize students for their outstanding accomplishments in the classroom and as leaders in their clubs and/or activities.  Underclassman receive awards at the academic awards assembly on April 20th and seniors on the evening of May 9th.  Please recognize your students and promote your outstanding programs by submitting the award nomination forms to Joyce.

Value Added Roster Verification - On April 19th, Teacher Value Added Roster Verification becomes available for teachers that will have a value added composite score tied to a course they teach. These are teachers that instruct an AIR tested course.  Please be aware that you will receive an email on or prior to the 19th from donotreply@mcoecn.org with instructions to follow in order to complete your set-up.  I plan to meet with value added teachers shortly after April 19th to answer questions regarding the process.

Infrastructure Test -  On Friday, March 27, we will conduct an infrastructure test in order to determine any problems that may exist prior to next month's AIR assessments.  The test will occur during first period and staff members will be asked to participate if their room is used for the assessments.  Information will be communicated on Monday, March 20th if you will need to assist with the test.

Have a great spring break!
