Important Information

Power Outage - It was certainly an unexpected couple of days without school last week. Unfortunately, we were at the mercy of the power companies as they worked hard to restore power to much of northeast Ohio on Thursday and Friday.  Finally, on Friday at 4:00 P.M., electricity was restored to the high school by First Energy trucks from New Jersey.  Aside from the usual heating issues after a long break, heat should be restored to all parts of the building.  Please send me an email if you have unusually low temperatures in your building this week.   I welcome all of you back, just in time for a snowstorm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Staff Meeting - In lieu of this month's staff meeting, please complete the AIR assessment training link found on the 2017  Testing Information tab above.  When you are finished with the 30 minute course, please email me a PDF of the completion certificate or print it and place in my mailbox.

Baby Meyer - Congratulations to Stephanie Meyer and her family as they welcomed Olivia Joyce on Wednesday, March 8th.  Olivia is a perfect baby weighing 7 lbs, 11 oz. and measuring 20 1/2 inches long.

College Fair - Please remind our students to take advantage of the outstanding opportunity to attend the WEDGE College Fair at WGHS this Wednesday, March 15, 2017.  This fair has become so well received that over 100 colleges and universities are expected to attend.  WMJI's Jimmy Malone will be a guest speaker during the event.  Jimmy is also the founder of the Jimmy Malone Scholarship Program.

Monitor Halls - Please stand at your door between periods. Not only does this help curb any negative behavior, it is a nice gesture to greet the students as they enter your room.
