Important Information
PD Day - Thank you to everyone for your great work on Friday. Your attention to the Next Generation Assessments have to be commended. For many of you it was an eye opening experience that you will use to better prepare your students for their end of course exams. Please continue to look at these practice tests and utilize the resources that Sean Whelan has provided you on his website. The links to the practice exams are still located at the top of this bulletin.
Observations - If you are not being formally observed this year, you need to be INFORMALLY observed. If you haven't done so already, please schedule a time with your assigned principal prior to Friday, January 23rd. The observation window can be from today through March 27th. Please see me if you have any questions. Here is the direct link to the 2014-2015 Performance Review Schedule.
Vickie - The Chesterland News ran a nice article after the first of the year about the funds that were donated to the Vlah family from Bremec's Garden Center. Check out the article here. I know several of you made donations and/or decided to purchase your tree from Bremec's to support Vickie. All of your time, effort and support has been greatly appreciated by the family.

College Fair - The West Geauga Education Foundation is presenting Kickstart College Fair again this year. It is anticipated that this will be even larger than last year and expected to draw students from all of Geauga County and parts of Lake and Cuyahoga Counties. Please encourage your students to attend this event and talk to colleges of interest. More information will follow in the upcoming months.
Geauga Achieve Fundraiser - Geauga achieve is hosting a Dinner and Auction Fundraiser on February 21st from 6-10pm. Check out the flyer here.
AP Potential Students - Many sophomores and juniors took the PSAT this fall. One of the data reports provided to us gave information regarding students with AP Potential. Please take a look at this document and use it as a tool when determining course recommendations for next year. Course recommendations and grades are due on January 29th.
