Important Information

Midterm Exams - An email was sent out the entire WGHS community late Friday morning with the changes to the midterm exam schedule. (Click here for updated schedule)  Unfortunately, the bulk of the exams will not occur until after the PD day on Friday; therefore, a couple extra days have been built into the schedule to allow you to complete and enter grades.  Please also use our staff  meeting time on January 20th to grade exams.  Grades will be due at the end of the day on January 29th.

Observations - If you are not being formally observed this year, you need to be INFORMALLY observed.  Please schedule a time with your assigned principal as soon as possible.  Please see me if you have any questions.

PARCC Item of the Week - Please share with your parents and students the new PARCC Test Item of the Week.  This information will provide both parents and students with a glimpse of what test questions will be like.  Here is the link to the Item of the Week.

More PARCC and AIR - Sean Whelan has put together a great technology resource for all of our teachers to assist our students in being successful with the Next Generation Assessments.  Again, please provide the students time in front of the sample test prior to the "live" tests which begin on February 23rd.
