Important Information
Alphabetical Homeroom - Please be at your doors assisting students at 7:15 on Monday morning. Some students may be unfamiliar with the alphabetical homeroom locations and will require assistance. Here are the important first day of school documents that have been placed in your shared Google folder.
- Alphabetical Homeroom
- Homeroom and First Day Procedures - Be sure to read the Top 10 Parent Student Handbook Topics
Period Attendance - Please take accurate period attendance throughout the entire year. This information is reported to ODE through EMIS.
Office Referrals - Office referrals will no longer be submitted through Public School Works. WGHS will utilize the convenient options in Infinite Campus. Please review this video in the event that you need to submit an office referral.
Opening PLC Work - Please take the time to complete the PLC work that we started on Wednesday, August 17th. I will collaborate with most PLC's through the Google Doc and at our first PLC meeting on August 31st. If you are a music, art, tech or business teacher, please submit your plan to support the tested areas. This document may be submitted via Google Docs.
Clarification - At our opening staff meeting I said that students should not switch lunches in order to eat with their friends. Please know that I find it completely acceptable to switch lunches if a student needs tutoring with a particular teacher. These situations should be cleared with both teachers using signatures on a hall pass or student planner.
No Late Start on Wednesday, August 24th - Please communicate this with your students. It is posted on our school's calendar.
