Important Information
Staff Meeting - One topic of this week's staff meeting will cover HQT information. Please come to the meeting with thoughts about any changes you have made to your license and how you are qualified to teach each of your classes. We will complete the HQT forms at the meeting.
SLO Assessments- It has been determined that the SLO post-assessment will be given during the last week of the third quarter and WILL NOT be part of the student's final exam grade. Teachers will give the exams during their regular class period and the test will be calculated into the student's third quarter grade. Click here for the schedule.
Growth Plan - Prior to your formal or informal observation, ALL TEACHERS will need to complete a growth plan and self assessment. Please refer to the conversations you had with your principal last year regarding areas of growth. Your growth plan consists of two goals:
Connectedness Chart - Evidence shows that students who feel cared for by adults in their school and those that feel part of the school's culture will perform better academically, have higher attendance rates and will less likely be involved in disciplinary issues. Mr. Callahan has created an extremely valuable tool that can be used by all staff to identify any student needing to feel connected to our building. If you haven't already, please take a moment to identify students you have made a connection with. Please revisit this chart in a week and identify and reach out to any student needing a connection. STARS Autism Program Holiday Boutique - Jayne and her students will be working hard this holiday season putting together fundraising items to sell on their online boutique. Jayne wrote in her email to everyone, "The money raised helps fund new technology for our students to better access the curriculum and communicate. Funds also help students attend community trips that provide opportunities to work on life skills that they otherwise are unable to practice in the classroom setting." Please consider donating purchasing an item here.

Observations - All teachers being formally observed this year have been sent an email asking for observations to be set up with their assigned principal. All teacher not being formally observed will be observed informally. Please consider a lesson you would like to have observed and let Mr. Murawski or me know. We would like all observation to be completed by the end of February.
